Patañjali Chary has been working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, large-scale systems, and human- centered design since the earliest days of modern AI. A graduate of the University of Toronto’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence program, he studied under pioneers including Prof. Geoffrey Hinton, alongside leading figures in systems and human-computer interaction.

Across senior leadership roles at Oracle, Microsoft, Ultimate Software, Ellie Mae, and other global technology platforms, Patañjali’s work has consistently centered on operationalizing complex, hard-to-access systems at scale – a theme that directly underpins Fourth Vital’s approach to upstream kidney risk.

With decades of experience building and scaling enterprise platforms in highly regulated environments, and MBA training from Columbia Business School and UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, he brings both deep technical fluency and execution discipline to Fourth Vital.

Fourth Vital brings together experience across clinical medicine, non-invasive sensing, AI, and regulated healthcare platforms.

The team includes physicians, data scientists, and engineers with backgrounds in nephrology, internal medicine, large-scale risk modeling, and healthcare systems.

In parallel, Fourth Vital works closely with an experienced medical-device engineering and manufacturing group, spanning industrial design, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, firmware, and system integration, supporting its non-invasive sensing and RUO development efforts.

This work is supported by advisors with deep experience in medtech commercialization, clinical validation, and regulatory strategy, ensuring the platform is built to scale responsibly across health systems.
